Weather-based watering, wireless power, and smartphones with high-powered batteries. The technology at last month’s Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas show takes everyday gadgets to the next level.
Once a tech nerd, always tech nerd, and our inner tech nerd was in heaven during the Consumer Electronics Show last month. We were overwhelmed with cutting-edge technology and gadgets that were just plain cool. As hard as it was, we narrowed down our list of favorite tech innovations from CES 2015 to three products that we think you’ll be beyond impressed with too.
1.) Energizer Energy Smartphones
Energizer, typically known for batteries, debuted a line of rugged, waterproof smartphones. The Energizer Energy phones not only have all the technology of other smartphones, like a MediaTek processor and rear and front-facing cameras, they have one other special feature; a high-powered Energizer battery. The 500 model has a 3000mAh battery and is said to “last twice as long as an Apple iPhone 6.”
2.) Blossom Smart Watering Controller
We’re in the business of lawns, so the Blossom Smart Watering Controller was a no-brainer. This watering system plans your watering schedule based on the weather, as well as plant type. With the Blossom, you get beautiful yard and average savings of 30% on your water bill, all while contributing to water conservation efforts. Sounds like a win-win-win to us.
3.) Energous WattUp
We’ve always been into the idea of cord-free technology. With the Energous WattUp, you can now be cord-free indoors too. The WattUp system is a network of wireless power transmitters that can power devices up to 15 ft. away.
